Description

Take a step into the future! Go on an exciting adventure discover the secret treasure using geospatial technology. (Warning: This workshop will involve a high level of walking and wit!!!)

  • 5+ GPS units (one unit for each group of 3-5)

  • Geocaching.com - the official website for geocaching.  Includes a database of waypoints, tips on finding or placing caches, and an online forum for users.
  • Cacheopedia - an online encyclopedia of geocaching reference, survival guide, frequently asked questions, and articles.
  • GSAK - a computer program that helps users organize waypoints (for experienced cachers)
