Colusa County Biophotonics Camp: “Shine Light on Life”

For their summer camp, the youth and adult staff of Colusa County received two days of training in biophotonics. This field is an emerging area of scientific research that uses light and other forms of radiant energy to understand the inner workings of cells and tissues in living organisms. The training was developed and given by Rich and Carol Ponzio and Linda Mead entitled “Shining Light on Life”. The curriculum and teaching supplies were sponsored by the UC Davis Center for Biophotonics Science and Technology (CBST).
